About Us
Naked Monkey Entertainment is a boutique studio comprised of a collective of experts in the music, production and entertainment industry. We mentor and guide our artists and clients with tailor made products, plans and strategies uniquely created for them.
FOUNDERS
Marie Román
A graduate from the University of Miami with two bachelor's degrees: Bachelor of Science in Communications - Film/Television Production and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Puerto Rican born and raised Marie Roman has more than 20 years experience in the music and entertainment industry. She followed her passion for music and production and created a successful career that led her to work for multinational recording and publishing companies Warner/Chappell Music and Universal Music Publishing Latin America. She’s collaborated with artists, producers and songwriters such as Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan, Draco Rosa, Franco de Vita, Luis Enrique and Jon Secada, to name but a few.
Ten years ago, she co-founded Naked Monkey Entertainment, an entertainment company based in the city of Miami that provides a wide range of media, management and production services in the United States and South America.
Fabian Alicastro
In Colombian singer/songwriter and producer Fabian Alicastro's 18 year career in the music and entertainment industry, he has toured and performed his music all around the world. He has collaborated with Grammy Award winning songwriter and producers Desmond Child (Aerosmith, Kiss) and George Noriega (Shakira, Jennifer Lopez) creating music for his own albums as well as for others. Fabian has also had the opportunity to work with important Latin music icons Ricky Martin, Juanes, Alejandro Sanz and Luis Fonsi, to name just a few.
Because of his keen business sense and entrepreneurial spirit, in 2010 he co-founded Naked Monkey Entertainment, a boutique music, production and entertainment company based in the city of Miami. His passion for all things creative and audiovisual have led him into producing and directing. He has worked on videos for renowned artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Luis Fonsi and Tommy Torres, as well as for record labels like Warner Music and Universal Latino and with Warner Brothers Studios in Hollywood.
SongLab by Naked Monkey
At the SongLab by Naked Monkey we take it to the next level! Our Creative Division works with up and coming and established artists in the creative direction of their projects. From a single song or an entire album, at SongLab our A&R's guide our clients and artists from the creation of the song through the production process by finding the right songs, collaborators and producers.
At our music publishing companies within SongLab, Songs of The Monkey(BMI) and Tunes of the Monkey(ASCAP), our A&R's sign and develop songwriters and producers, expand their catalogs and pitch and place songs with other artists, in film and tv and new media.

Our main job is to connect our talent with key people as well as guide them towards obtaining the business deals and opportunities that will successfully help them develop their career and secure their place in the professional world of music and entertainment.

Music Production
Our talented group of producers are young, hip and have a lot of experience in producing different musical genres. Their roster of clients include: Juanes, Ednita Nazario, Luis Fonsi, Luis Enrique, Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias, to name just a few. They take charge and direct the musical process of each production from the selection of songs, choosing the right musicians, pre-production, recording, post production, mixing and mastering.
Event Production
At Naked Monkey we love a great party! So when we are hired to produce an event we take it VERY seriously. Our team has the creativity, patience and attention to detail needed to successfully produce all types of events. From the conceptual to the technical we deliver unforgettable experiences via our release parties, artist showcases, concerts and everything in between.
Video Production
Our producers are creative story-tellers and visionaries who create unique and original content, which includes but is not limited to, Music Videos, Social Media content, Behind The Scenes Videos and EPK's.
